About EmpGrid

We build honest tools for teams.

EmpGrid is made by DigiGrowth. It began with a simple question: why does keeping track of a team take four different tools?

EmpGrid puts time tracking, attendance, leave, projects and team activity in one dashboard, with a desktop agent for Windows. It measures how much work happens, never what anyone types.

  • Privacy by design
  • Transparent to employees
  • Simple by default
  • Built to be reliable
  • One dashboard
  • Windows desktop agent

Prologue — Where it started

One tool for hours. Another for screenshots. A spreadsheet for leave. We thought a team deserved one place.

Chapter 01 — The story

It started with too many tabs open.

One platform where there used to be four tools

DigiGrowth is a technology company that builds workforce tools. We kept seeing teams juggle separate products: one for time tracking, another for screenshots, a third for attendance and leave.

EmpGrid is our answer: one platform that handles all of it. Employees work from a small desktop app. Managers review hours, attendance and activity in a web dashboard. Employees can see their own time, attendance and screenshots.

  • Time, attendance and leave in one place
  • A desktop agent for Windows and a dashboard on the web
  • Employees get their own dashboard and see their own screenshots

Chapter 02 — Our mission

To build transparent, privacy-respecting tools that help teams do their best work.

Chapter 03 — What we stand for

Four rules we build by

  1. Privacy by design

Activity is measured from counts of keyboard and mouse events, never the keys themselves. EmpGrid does not record typed text or passwords, and screenshots are only taken during tracked sessions. Window titles are recorded, and screenshots show whatever is on screen at that moment.

  2. Transparency for employees

Monitoring only works when people know what is collected. Employees have their own dashboard, where they can review their tracked time and the screenshots taken during their sessions.

  3. Simplicity

Create a workspace, add your team, install the Windows agent. Hours, attendance, leave and projects sit in one dashboard, so nobody has to stitch spreadsheets together.

  4. Reliability

If the connection drops, the desktop agent keeps activity and screenshots in a local queue and retries every few minutes while tracking is on. It also checks for new versions itself, so teams stay on the current release.

Chapter 04 — By construction

Numbers we can stand behind

No estimates and no head-counts. Each one comes straight from how the product is built.
