The questions we hear most often.
Which computers does the desktop agent run on?
Windows today. macOS and Linux agents are planned for later and are not available yet. Get the Windows installer on the download page.
Does EmpGrid record what employees type?
No. Activity levels come from counts of keyboard and mouse events, not the keys pressed. EmpGrid does not record typed text or passwords. Screenshots are only taken during tracked sessions. Screenshots show whatever is on screen when they are taken, and the active app and window title are recorded.
Can employees see their own data?
Yes. Each employee has their own dashboard with their tracked time, and can review the screenshots taken during their own sessions.
