Projects & tasks
Projects carry a description, deadline, status and members. Tasks have a status, a priority from low to urgent, an assignee and an estimate to compare with actual time.

Time, screenshots, attendance, leave, reports and roles. Five chapters, one workspace.
EmpGrid pairs a Windows desktop agent with a web dashboard. This page covers everything it does today, explained plainly, and nothing it doesn't do yet.
Chapter 01 — Time tracking & timesheets
Press start, get on with the work. The count keeps itself.
Employees start a timer from the Windows tray app or the web dashboard. In the web timer they can also pick a project and task and add a short note. Each session is saved with its start and end time and rolls up into the timesheet.
Chapter 02 — Screenshots & activity levels
A picture every ten minutes, and a number that says how busy the hands were.
While a session is being tracked, the desktop agent takes a screenshot about every 10 minutes and attaches an activity level: the share of that stretch with keyboard or mouse input. It counts key presses, clicks and mouse movement. It never records which keys were pressed or what was typed.
Chapter 03 — Attendance & leave management
Clock in, clock out, ask for time off. The month keeps its own ledger.
Employees clock in and out from the desktop app or the dashboard. Each day gets one record with clock-in, clock-out and total time, and late arrivals and early departures are flagged. Leave runs alongside it: you set up leave types, employees request time off against their balance, and admins approve or reject, and the employee is notified.
Chapter 04 — Reports & exports
Nine views of the same hours. Pick a range, read the shape, take it with you.
Reports turn tracked sessions, activity and attendance into tables and charts for admins. Choose a date range and, where a report supports it, narrow it to one employee or department. The By project report breaks tracked time down per project and per member. Any report downloads as a CSV file for spreadsheets, or opens as a print-ready page you can save as a PDF.
Chapter 05 — Privacy controls & roles
Monitoring only works when people trust it. So the rules are fixed, and written down.
Every workspace has three roles. The server checks the role on every team-wide request, so an employee account cannot open reports, other people's screenshots or workspace settings. Employees choose when tracking runs, and collection stops when they stop.

Minute activity windows

Group employees into departments. The By Department report and the report filters use them, so each team's hours and activity can be read on their own.
Keep a list of job titles for your organisation and give each employee one. It shows on their profile next to their department.
An in-app bell with an unread count. Admins hear about new leave requests, and employees hear when a request is approved or rejected. Mark one or all as read.
A tray app for Windows (v1.4.0) to start and stop tracking and clock in or out. It can start at login, prompts you when an update is ready, and keeps a local offline queue and retries uploads. macOS and Linux are coming later.
Each person has a profile with name, phone, department, designation and join date. Admins set the company name, address, timezone and work schedule: hours, work days and break length.
Questions
No. The desktop agent counts key presses, mouse clicks and mouse movement to work out an activity level. It never records which keys were pressed, typed text or passwords. Screenshots show whatever is on screen when they are taken, and the active app and window title are recorded.
Only while a tracking session is running in the desktop app, about every 10 minutes. When the employee stops tracking, capture stops.
The desktop agent runs on Windows today. macOS and Linux are coming later. The dashboard works in any modern browser. Download the Windows agent.
Yes. Employees see their own timer, timesheets, attendance, leave balances and requests, and their own screenshots. Team-wide views, reports and settings are for admins.
If the connection drops, the agent keeps activity and screenshots in a local queue and retries every few minutes while tracking is on.
