Solutions

Built for the way your team works.

Remote teams, agencies, HR and founders open the same workspace. Each comes looking for a different answer.

EmpGrid combines a Windows desktop agent with a web dashboard for tracked time, screenshots, attendance, leave and reports. Here is how four kinds of teams put it to work.

  • Remote teams
  • Hybrid offices
  • Agencies
  • Client projects
  • Operations
  • HR
  • Founders
  • Team leads

Prologue — One workspace, four readings

Same hours, same attendance, same reports. What changes is the question each team brings to them.

Chapter 01 — Remote & hybrid teams

When the team is spread across homes and time zones, you still want to know the work is moving.

Know who is working without another status call

Employees start tracking from the Windows tray app wherever they work. The dashboard shows who is online, idle or offline right now, with screenshots taken during tracked sessions and an activity level for each one. It replaces the "are you there?" message with a page you can check.

What it gives you

  • Live status on the dashboard: online, idle or offline
  • Screenshots during tracked sessions only, about every 10 minutes
  • Activity percentage for every 10-minute window, measured from input counts
  • Short connection drops are covered: the agent queues data locally and retries

EmpGrid counts key presses and clicks. It never records typed text, keys or passwords.

Chapter 02 — Agencies & client work

Clients pay for hours. Start the web timer with the project attached.

Hours on every project and task, ready to bill from

When someone starts the web timer they can pick the client project and, if you use them, the task. The By Project report adds those sessions up for any date range, and By Employee shows who did the hours. Export either to CSV or print it to PDF and invoice from the billing tool you already use.

What it gives you

  • A project and task on sessions started from the web timer
  • Projects with members and deadlines, tasks with estimates
  • Estimated against actual time on every task
  • By Project and By Employee reports, export to CSV or print to PDF

EmpGrid does not send invoices or mark hours billable. It gives you accurate hours per project to bill from.

Chapter 03 — Operations & HR

Attendance and leave belong in one place, not in three spreadsheets and an inbox.

Attendance and leave, run from one workspace

Clock-ins from the desktop app or the dashboard become daily attendance records with total time, and late arrivals and early departures are flagged. Leave types, yearly balances, requests and holidays live in the same workspace, so the month's picture is in one place when you approve time off.

What it gives you

  • A monthly attendance summary per employee: present, late, early departures
  • Leave types with yearly allowances, paid or unpaid
  • Balances checked automatically when someone requests leave
  • Approve or reject; the employee gets a notification
  • Mandatory and optional holidays for the whole workspace

Chapter 04 — Founders & managers

You need the shape of the week, not every screenshot in it.

The shape of the week, in nine reports

Weekly and monthly summaries show where the hours went. The productivity trend puts tracked time and average activity side by side, day by day, and the department and project reports show where the effort is going. Pick a range, read it, export it.

What it gives you

  • Daily activity, weekly and monthly summaries
  • Productivity trend: tracked minutes and average activity per day
  • Totals by project, employee and department
  • App usage and an attendance summary
  • Every report exports to CSV or prints to PDF

Whichever team you are

The same four steps to start

Set it up once and every chapter on this page works from the same data.

  1. 01

    Create your workspace

Register with your company name. You become the workspace's super admin.

  2. 02

    Set up the structure

Add departments, designations, projects and leave types.

  3. 03

    Add your team

Admins add each employee with an email, a password and a role, plus their department and designation.

  4. 04

    Install the Windows agent

Employees sign in to the desktop app and start tracking. Get the installer.

Epilogue — Free to start
